Hi all,
I've either read or heard of chocolate mousse, on tv as something rich fancy people eat in restaurants, and maybe as some sort of dessert, but anyway, for a long time, I've wanted to get a taste of it, just to see what it was like. I don't think there's anything like that around her, and I'm sure if I were in a restaurant and asked if they had any chocolate mousse, they'd have me committed. So has anyone ever tasted a chocolate mousse, not to be confused with the animal moose, and if you did, what did it taste like? was it as delicious as it sounds? I usually dread tasting new things, because my taste buds react to some things, and a lot of things just make me gag, so it's torture to get it down. But this chocolate mousse thing sounds yummy.

lol WW. Chocolate moose is kind of like pudding. hehehehehe Well, it kind of has the same texture but some people put nuts in it to make it crunchy. lol I've seen many different types of recipes, some with nuts, some with a crust over it, some with cream cheese, ... it all depends. I've tasted it but find it a bit rich. I'm not much of a chocolate fan and it just reminds me of chocolate pudding which I don't like.

Well, I hope you get the chance to try it sometime. I've looked at many different recipes and it doesn't seem that hard to make at all.

chocolate moouse is lovely!!!! It's like light bubbily airy chocolate that melts in your mouth and is like silk on your tongue! If you like chocolate, you probably can't fail to like it! Couldn't eat too much in one go though, as Michelle said, it's a bit sickly after a while. Have never tried making it though, probably wouldn't turn out as nice as those which are ready made, but that's just me!

Hey WW, here's a couple of suggestions. You are from NC right, well at the grocery store food lion, there is a delicious, already prepared chocolate moose. It is near the deli section, they have jello and pudding there, all sorts. The chocolate is pretty good. All fluffy and chocolatity with whipped cream on top. Another idea, I just figured this one out. We have one of those small blenders, like you blend in a cup... If you take some cream and chocolate syrup, blend it for a minute... Tah-dah, you got some quick easy chocolate moose! Let us know if you try it! smile!

thanks groovy Grape, I'll tell my mom about the food lion thing, and see if they have it in the store first. I'm more for store store stuff when we can get it, but if I ever get to try some, I'll let you know how it tasted.

Chocolate moose is amazing! But, i am slightly disapointed as I have not yet found a chocolate moose that is the size of an actual moose! That would make my day!
